I have had a look online and cannot find any mention that it needs to always be connected to the net however there's no mention that it doesn't either! So for a person like yourself who isn't online constantly then I'm afraid this program probably isn't for you :( I'll keep my eyes open looking for other solutions though. Because I work off of a 3 mobile broadband dongle and living under my dad's terms and conditions for the home, I can't be online every day at all times.
