Yesturday news broke that “Tomorrow is just another day. That you’ll never forget”, and was seen on Apple’s homepage. Rumours of iTunes Cloud Services like music streaming, big Ping updates, 4.2 finally released were just some floating around the web. Well today at 3pm (UK Time) Apple’s homepage got updated to feature “The Beatles, now available on iTunes”. The big announcement, the rumours all shed to nothing more than a old band arriving on iTunes with a price tag of £125 for the “Boxset”. Ok ok, I know there will be many Beatles fans out there but seriously, did it really need all this hype?

“Tomorrow is just another day. That you’ll never forget.” – The tag line now being shown on the iTunes webpage over at Apple. It continues with… “Check back here tomorrow for an exciting announcement from iTunes”. Let the speculation begin! Some are saying is it finally the death of what they call a slow, outdated program, some are thinking it could be the introduction of iTunes music rentals, i.e. pay a fixed monthly fee for unlimited music, the possibilities are endless! For those of us waiting for iOS 4.2 it looks like it could also come tomorrow too! Remember to check out the Apple site at 3pm UK time tomorrow!

Lately there has been loads of news flying around that the new version of iTunes, iTunes 9, could have, social networking, blu-ray support, App Organisation and so much more! I have been using iTunes for several years now. I started using it just around version 4 and as soon as I got my first iPod, the 5th Gen iPod Video, I have never really used any other program to manage my music. iTunes for me was a fresh and welcomed break from Windows Media Player (WMP). I have never really got on with Windows Media Player, sure it’s improved version to version but I found and still find it crashes often, the organisation isn’t as clear and I have an iPod/iPhone so why would I really go back to WMP?
