So you want to listen to music, but at 79p a track on iTunes it can get a little costly? Thinking of buying a album but wondering is it any good? Well, theres a great program that I have come accross called Spotify that allows you to listen to music for free! Full albums, singles, latest chart music, everything! So what’s the catch? Well every so often there will be a 30 second advert in between the tracks however you can pay £10 a month to remove the adverts if you wish.

The program is really simple and easy to use you can create playlists, listen to the Radio and of course the lastest chart music (and classics). The service is completely backed by the Music Industry and is completely legal. You can’t obviously burn the tracks to a disk or copy them to your iPod but its great for listening while at your computer.

Spotify runs on Windows XP/Vista, Mac OS X, and Linux under Wine.
