If your like me you probably have a few gadgets that need charging, right? But what is my biggest hate with charging, the time to charge? No, the cables! Arghh cables annoy me so much they are all different sizes, different colours and they all seem to use different connectors. So when Love Cases got in touch with this new 4-in-1 Charge and Sync Cable I was more than happy to test it out.

4 In 1 - Charge and Sync Cable

Charge multiple devices at once.

The 4-in-1 Charge and Sync cable features an iPod Dock Connector used on iPhone (pre iPhone 5) iPad (pre iPad 4) and iPods (pre iPod Touch 5th Gen). This connector is clever though, just turn it the opposite way and it is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab devices too a nice touch! It also has the Lightning Connector, Apples latest connection for it’s devices and of course the very popular Micro USB connection used on the majority, if not all, Android Phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4. Personally I use the Micro USB to charge up my portable charger then reuse the cable to charge my iPhone from the charger to the phone when I’m out and about. You can charge multiple devices at once but please note it can depend on the device and where you have plugged the device into due to the amount of power carried through the cable. It will not charge the iPad and iPhone simultaneously.

Build Quality

Ok, so I wasn’t expecting anything too fancy these 4-in-1 type things don’t tend to be built brilliantly but I was wrong in this case. The sleeve used around the cable is fantastic quality it feels very much like the official Apple Cable used for the latest lightning connector. The actual connections are of high quality too the plastic encasing them is strong and moulded perfectly to give a smooth and professional feel. The cable is definitely the best 3rd part cable I have used in terms of quality. It feels more like an official product built to last.

Rated 4.5 cloudsOverall

Overall this is a great little cable. Perfect for those travelling, or out and about. Also ideal for a car with multiple users, especially if you all have different phones requiring different cables. You can easily fit it in your bag as the cables aren’t very long, and with the great build quality you can rest assured it will last. At just £9.99 from Love Cases it’s a bargain considering 1 Apple cable is £15!
