Yesturday news broke that “Tomorrow is just another day. That you’ll never forget”, and was seen on Apple’s homepage. Rumours of iTunes Cloud Services like music streaming, big Ping updates, 4.2 finally released were just some floating around the web. Well today at 3pm (UK Time) Apple’s homepage got updated to feature “The Beatles, now available on iTunes”. The big announcement, the rumours all shed to nothing more than a old band arriving on iTunes with a price tag of £125 for the “Boxset”. Ok ok, I know there will be many Beatles fans out there but seriously, did it really need all this hype?
Quoted from the Press release Ringo Star says:
“I am particularly glad to no longer be asked when the Beatles are coming to iTunes,”
Maybe he is sick of it too?
