We are in an era right now where we can use wireless technologies to control our devices. This is great as there is no more getting up to switch a track on the Hi-Fi. No more getting up to change TV Channel. For many of you, your probably thinking, what there didn’t used to be a remote control? Well no there didn’t and before it was wireless there were controls on a wire! But luckily that time is over most controls are wireless now. However there is one problem. There is no real standard in remote controls other than “most” use Infra-red technology to transmit the signals. The problem with no real standard is we have so many of these things it can be a real hassle to have to use them all. Just have a look around now. Maybe you have a remote control for your TV? DVD Player? Bluray Player? PVR? Satellite? Cable? So say you have just 4 of these that’s 4 separate remote controls that just 1 could do, if it was designed to work with them all…. bring on the Logitech Harmony 300 Remote Control. (more…)

I have reviewed several headsets now. Headsets from £20 to £70, headsets with 2.1 and 5.1, over the head design and behind the head design but I have never reviewed a headset with which is wireless and has 7.1 surround sound. Wireless is one of those features many of us would love to use but it always has flaws to it. Whether it is lack of sound quality, horrid interference, or just poor battery life, using wireless means you always have to compromise on something. Will the Logitech G930 Wireless Headset have any of these flaws or has Logitech managed to create a great wireless package with little compromise? Lets Find Out… (more…)

So often people buy a brand new computer or build one themselves and just think does it look good and is it fast? Well what about how does it sound? No, I don’t mean the whirring of the fans I mean the sound system. Why have a great multimedia Computer that is attached to poor speakers? Surely you want to get the most out of your computer and with the Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers you can! You can turn your multimedia PC into a cinema or frightening gaming system. I have wanted to review this speaker system for a while. After using them for a couple of years they are still going strong but don’t just trust my words check out the video too!
