It has been a while since our last App review but this one caught the eye of myself any many others for its fantastic looking graphics, excellent physics and addictive gameplay! Sprinkle is one of those Apps we rarely see, with its uniqueness and fantastic design it should be right up there with such greats including Angry Birds and Doodle Jump. My only warning with this game is it is very addictive and you will want to spend hours saving the little monsters homes from being burnt to a crisp!

Amazon has launched its Appstore today for Android. They have also managed to secure Angry Birds Rio, which is exclusive to the Amazon appstore. However it hasn’t been an easy launch as Apple have slapped a law suit on Amazon as they are using the “App Store” name which infringes Apples Trademark. Amazon have clearly tried to separate the name by removing the space used in the name “AppStore” but that isn’t enough for Apple.

We will keep you informed of any news! Also to note sadly at the moment this is US only, hopefully Amazon will bring it to the UK soon!
Update: Angry Birds Rio is exclusive on the Amazon Store only for Android it is also available on the App Store for iOS Devices.

HTC has arrived into the tablet scene with it’s 7-inch “Flyer”! The Android 2.4 Tablet is packed with features all incorporated in a aluminium unibody construction. The tablet touts a speedy 1.5ghz CPU, 1GB Ram plus 32GB of flash storage. The screen has a resolution of 1024×600 which sadly is just under 720p HD but still looks beautiful from the pictures we have seen. HTC are packing in a tablet optimised version of their hugely successful ”Sense” and a feature many have wanted from the iPad, a pressure-sensitive stylus! (more…)

The Android team have been busy and have released a LiveCD / LiveUSB version of Android for x86 platforms. The LiveAndroid allows you to burn a copy to a CD or stick it on a USB and boot right from it allowing the testing of the OS without having to make any changes to your system or create a partition.
