For a number of years now there has been websites where you can store your documents, photos, music, videos etc online but the majority you have to pay for or they don’t really give you enough space. There are some sites out there that do give you more than 25GB of online storage for free but there is always that risk of the company closing down or them having to remove the feature.

Well Microsoft have their own version, called Windows Live Skydrive and this feature has been around for sometime and used to give you 5GB of free storage. Well now it’s 25GB of free online storage! Also that’s per Windows Live ID Account so you could have a lot more if you wish! The benefits with SkyDrive include the ability to create private folders but also public folders that you can share with your Windows Live friends or Everyone!
