Download Firefox 5 Today!
It doesn’t seem too long ago that Firefox 4 was released, infact it was 22nd March 2011 when the last version was out so this is a pretty quick turn-around. The reason for this is Mozilla have now changed their release model to a quick release schedule.
“Mozilla’s shift to a rapid release development cycle delivers cutting edge Firefox features, performance enhancements, security updates and stability improvements to users faster. – Mozilla Blog“
This might also be Firefox’s way to keep up with market-share gaining competitors like Google Chrome that is rapidly becoming one of the most popular browsers. We often see new releases of Chrome constantly bringing improvements to the browser and it looks like Mozilla want to do the same with Firefox. Appparently Firefox is now on a 18-week release-cycle meaning more updates are to come before the year is out.
It’s worth noting there are improvements to new technologies like HTML 5 and CSS 3 and stability improvements but other than that nothing much has changed and it still scores the exact same on the HTML5test website as version 4.
Are you a Firefox user? Has Chrome tickled your fancy?

No more annoying little blue pop ups interrupting workflow or gaming with little information and possibly the ugliest thing on the iOS. Now notifications are right at the top of the device and pop up but do not interrupt what your doing at all. You can swipe down all notifications from the top of the OS very simply, Android users will know all about this feature. Also Notifications are listed shown on the lock screen (YAY, Sorry been wanting this for years). So Apple finally make use of that wasted space on the iOS.

Wireless is one of those features many of us would love to use but it always has flaws to it. Whether it is lack of sound quality, horrid interference, or just poor battery life, using wireless means you always have to compromise on something. Will the Logitech G930 Wireless Headset have any of these flaws or has Logitech managed to create a great wireless package with little compromise? Lets Find Out… (more…)
