Today Apple released upgraded Macbook Pros with Intel Thunderbolt Technology. Details and even photos of the Macbooks were leaked early so it wasn’t much of a surprise but hey, its from Apple so we love any announcement right? The new Macs feature Sandy Bridge Processors, AMD Graphics and new Thunderbolt technology.

Having that edge when gaming can help you reign supreme over being just another player. Whether its FPS Pro or RPG King, it’s not something that will just come to you but requires practice and mastery of the game. If you wish to become pro you will need skills but the “pros” don’t just use their skills to get them through. Why be master builder in Minecraft but use wooden tools over diamond? Why use “Green” two-handed axe instead of a “Epic” two-handed axe in World of Warcraft? Having the best tools for the job gives you the edge over others but this isn’t just about items in a game. Giving yourself the best tools for the job will reflect your in-game performance. It’s official Apple are holding the iPad 2 event on the 2nd of March 2011. The invite says “Come see what 2011 will be a year of” so maybe this won’t just be an iPad event which would tie into the rumours of a new Macbook!

Today the long awaited Windows 7 SP1 was released to the public. SP1 (Service Pack 1) includes past security, performance and stability updates and includes reliability updates for HDMI audio playback, printing using XPS Viewer, and restoring previous folders in Windows Explorer. Sadly gone are the days when the Service packs introduced new features but for Windows users its always worth installing.
